I highly recommend A Country Home for your fur baby. They were incredibly kind to us & Tilly (our Golden Lab). My husband broke his leg while on our family holiday & we had to stay in Blenheim hospital for 10 days (we live in ChCh) so Tilly had to go to kennels for the first time ever which made me a bit anxious. Tilly had a fabulous time with Julie ringing me regularly & sending a video to let me know that Tilly was having a lovely time which made me feel so relieved. Tilly now has her very own holiday home & we will definitely be taking her back soon when I travel for work again 💕🐶💕

We cannot recommend A Country Home enough! We were recommended the kennels by friends as we needed somewhere for our cocker spaniel to stay for 6 weeks while away in Europe. Nic was amazing to deal with, booking and communication leading up to his stay was easy, and when we arrived for a visit beforehand the kennels were extremely clean, organised and had plenty of area for our dog to run around in. We were sent photos throughout our trip and felt that our dog was treated like family, we were able to enjoy our honeymoon knowing our dog was in safe hands. We will definitely be using A Country Home again, thank you so much to Nic and her team for doing such an amazing job of looking after Louie!

I cannot recommend A Country Home highly enough! Our dog Lola and cat Alfie have both stayed there a few times now and are obviously looked after beautifully,... both are always very chilled, happy pets on pick up 😍. The owners are very friendly and professional which certainly gives us piece of mind especially while we were overseas. Thanks again guys.👍

I couldn't recommend A Country Home highly enough. My daughter was very nervous leaving our kitten for the first time, but ever since that first stay, Nic has shown nothing but love for our wee Codi. My daughter wouldn't let her stay anywhere else. I wouldn't either. She is always happy when we pick her up, her usual calm self. And we are relaxed knowing she is being treated so well. Thanks Nic for loving our girl as much as we do.

Highly recommend A Country Home. Our wee dog 'Ted' stayed for 10 days (his first ever 'boarding kennel' experience at age 5). He was so well loved/cared for. The place is 'immaculate / clean' and staff so friendly, caring and VERY organised. They made sure Ted's stay was comfortable and gave him lots of love. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Fabulous kennels! Highly recommend. Nic and the team were so welcoming and allayed all our worries about leaving our 3 and 5 year old rescue dogs with separation anxiety for the first time 😍. Our girls were very happy going in, and still just as happy when we picked them up... with none of the telltale 'dandruff' they both get when anxious. In fact the older one said a rumbunctious hello then went to head back to her kennel 😂. Will definitely be using again.

Ringo, my German pointer stayed last week for 10days . We ended up having an extra night in Fiji due to some delays and was no problem for nic and Dave. Fantastic people to deal with and Ringo was very comfortable. Thanks again for taking care of him 😊

Highly recommend A country home. We are very precious about our wee dog Minnie but Nic and her staff are extremely welcoming and caring. I loved how clean the kennels were and our Minnie enjoyed her stay. Will definitely be using this boarding kennel again.

Our 2 cats stayed here for a week. They have some added needs, being persian cats. Nic was amazing and so kind and caring.
